When your baby blows out their first candle, the hardest part about sleeping is over - what can you expect next?

  • By the time your baby is one year old, he or she has learned to sleep through the night, but may still experience a few awakenings. This is normal and happens to many adults!
  • Your child needs at least 11 hours of sleep at night and an average of two naps during the day, for a total of about 14 hours.
  • A well-established routine will help your child fall asleep, so make sure you create the right conditions for your child to fall asleep and keep the same schedule.

My daughter isn’t 1 yet. She’s 10 months. But the way I get her to sleep keep her busy during the day (going on walks, take her to the park, interact with her by playing toys and games, etc. also she only takes maybe 1-2 naps during the day. Around bed time , I bathe her (I use melatonin epsom salt in her water too), give her a warm bottle and she’s sleep within the next 30 mins . This is just my routine. Maybe you could try tiring your baby out during the day?

she plays during the day with 2 kids but sometimes she will not go to bed till late

My 1 year old daughter has gotten off of a sleep schedule. She refuses bed until 12 at night and she will only take one nap a day and she screams when I’m trying to lay her down. She just started refusing naps too.

Girl I lay in bed with her with cartoons on and she just fights it . Currently in bed with her sitting in the dark and she just won’t go to sleep

Hey moms I need some help my 1 year old for the past 3 night has been screaming bloody murder every night when I try to put her to sleep (note she still gets rocked to sleep) no judgement please

Try giving her a warm bath with the sleepy set from johnson's. and warm milk and lay there till she's sleeping.

I’m not doing a thing today!! Remember how i mentioned the exhaustion? Well it’s here!! I’m exhausted yet again. Chasing a 1 year old and growing a baby all day is so hard. I just want to sleep for days!
