Baby's nap at 6 months

An established routine will help your 6-month-old get through the nightly sleep phase.

  • Most 6- to 9-month-olds sleep 14 to 15 hours a day, and up to 8 hours at a time for the luckiest parents.
  • If this is not the case, don't worry: every infant is different. Many babies still wake up at night to feed.
  • Two or three naps are still very common at this age, but the schedule has become routine and the last nap should not be too late, to facilitate the evening nap.
