Toothache and teething: how to relieve it?

If your baby's cheeks are red, they have been grumpy all day long, and have a slight fever for a few days, it's most likely a teething problem.

  • When teeth start to erupt through the gums, a whole set of symptoms appear.
  • To soothe your baby, you can give them a chilled teething ring or gently massage the gums with your fingers.
  • To reduce the fever, you can use acetaminophen, making sure the dosage is appropriate for your baby's weight.
  • If your baby's fever is over 38.5 °C (101,3 °F) or they seem unwell, you should consult your pediatrician.

My baby girl is possibly teething she’s been super slobbery and her head feels warm but right now she is snotty and congested is that normal for teething as well or should I take her to doc I’ve checked her temp the hugest I got was 99.2 under her arm so she isn’t running a fever either Please I am stressing out about this and so worried I’m not doing the right thing my anxiety is getting the best of me on this

My son gets congested & gets little red bumps on his chest & stomach. But you could always message/call into the dr office to see if they think it is something you should bring her in for.

I'm pretty sure my 3 month old started teething she's so squirmy and wants to bit everything. She won't take teething toys at room temperature but Idk if I'm allowed to put any water on them and freeze them without it harming her

Instead of freezing them just get them wet and put in a bag and then put it in the fridge for a few hours. Everything I’ve found recommend the fridge over the freezer :)

One of my best friends took the inside of the pickle out and used that. My son really likes it too.

I need opinions please... so my 5 month old has been teething hard, and he recently started coughing and has a little stuffy nose.. is it from the teething? Or does it sound like he's getting a little cold?

I run the heater in my bedroom where we sleep and the stuffy nose went away as soon as I gave him some saline drops. There's no fever or waterery eyes.

I’ve heard from other moms that teething tablets work wonders! I haven’t personally used them but I may try it if my son starts to have teething pains! Usually he’s good with a dose of Tylenol!
