All about the fertility window

During each menstrual cycle, your fertility window is limited to only a few days.

• The fertility window is the timeframe during which the egg can be fertilized by a spermatozoon.
• It lasts a few days and generally extends from the 9th to the 16th day of the cycle.
• While sperm can survive for 5 days in the female genital tract, the most fragile eggs die after only 2 days.
• Any unprotected sex during this period gives you a chance to get pregnant.
