IVF: how does it work?
If you're planning to have an IVF procedure to conceive a baby, how many appointments are you going to have and what are the main steps involved? Here are the answers.
- First, you'll need to see a gynecologist to discuss your conception problems.
- At the end of this appointment, they will prescribe a series of tests and examinations for you and your partner to better target the cause of your infertility.
- A second appointment with the gynecologist will allow you to receive the results of the tests and enter into the MAP protocol.
- Finally, the last meeting before the beginning of the treatment will allow you to put together the MAP file and to obtain the last prescriptions for new biological analyses.
