Baby's eye color

Know that you will not be able to know the final color of your baby's eyes until they are 9 months old. Here is some information about the color of your baby's eyes:

• The iris will change color because at birth it does not have melanin.
• It is almost impossible to define the color of a baby's eyes in the first months of his life.
• Parents who both have brown eyes will often pass this color on to their child.
• If your baby has blue eyes even after 9 months, wait a few more weeks to be sure of the final color.
