At what age can a baby see?

Your little one is starting to look around and their eyes and visual acuity are developing:

  • At 1 week, your baby sees blurred and in black and white.
  • At 2 months, the visual field increases to 60° and your baby begins to see green and red.
  • At 4 months, your baby can see some objects at close range.
  • Between 6 months and 1 year, they see all colors and their field of vision expands.
  • From 1 to 6 years, they refine their visual acuity. From 6 years old, kids have the same visual capacity as adults.
