How to calm a crying child?

When a child grows up, they can express themselves with words and gestures. How can we deal with his tears?

  • As soon as the baby starts to communicate, around 9 months, several causes can be responsible for their crying.
  • Fatigue, illness, frustration, or simply the desire to get your attention are the most frequent causes.
  • The first thing to do is to stay calm and interested in your child.
  • The more sympathetic you are with your child, the quicker they will calm down. Communicate with them. Even if they're not talking yet, ask them what is wrong.
  • You can try to entertain them in different ways, with a toy, a book, or an object.
  • If the tantrum gets out of hand, don't hesitate to isolate them in a quiet place like their bedroom, get down on their level, and express your displeasure.

Had a bad dream woke up covered on sweat.... I was 15 again and I was telling my mom I was pregnant she tried to whoop my ass but I caught the belt and then she started choking me. Then someone called the cops and I got thrown in jail. I had to give birth in jail and then I had to raise my child in jail because nobody would take him. There's more but I just can't type it without crying.

Girl! I'm so sorry ? I had a crazy dream yesterday. I felt like I was going to cry and I was shaking for a few hours after. These vivid dreams ain't no joke. Scary that they feel so real!

Just had my baby 3 days ago and got home today. Everyone in my baby’s face and want to hold him. I get it your the grandma and uncle and siblings but he’s only 3 days and I didn’t want everyone in my child’s face. Even when he’s sleep they bother him. Like my bf doesn’t respect my decision and I explained multiple times I don’t want everyone around him for like 2 weeks. Even when my baby is asleep he says he has the rest of his life to sleep so he lets them hold him and wake him up and all. I know I can’t be tripping. Now Im crying, where’s the respect? I’m highly pissed and don’t know how to let me frustration go. At the end that’s our child.

i was literally just about to post this exact same thing. mines 4 days old and i was feeling so disrespected. and idk especially with the baby advice/ help like i do appreciate the extra help but sometimes it just makes the situation more stressful and takes away from my experience of being his mom.

Then they bring my child back when he’s hungry like I’m just food supply. Extra help is always appreciated but when they take that time away from being a mom, especially a first time most is a bit much.
