How to calm a crying child?
When a child grows up, they can express themselves with words and gestures. How can we deal with his tears?
- As soon as the baby starts to communicate, around 9 months, several causes can be responsible for their crying.
- Fatigue, illness, frustration, or simply the desire to get your attention are the most frequent causes.
- The first thing to do is to stay calm and interested in your child.
- The more sympathetic you are with your child, the quicker they will calm down. Communicate with them. Even if they're not talking yet, ask them what is wrong.
- You can try to entertain them in different ways, with a toy, a book, or an object.
- If the tantrum gets out of hand, don't hesitate to isolate them in a quiet place like their bedroom, get down on their level, and express your displeasure.
