Vaccination in babies: how to prepare for it?

While it may not be the most pleasant time, vaccinations are required at a young age. Here are some tips on how to prepare for them.

  • First, remember that the first immunization shot will be the most difficult.
  • It's important to make sure it goes as smoothly as possible, so that neither you nor your baby are afraid of the following ones.
  • Make an appointment with your regular pediatrician, who you trust and with whom your child is already familiar.
  • If your baby is sick on the day of the appointment, reschedule.
  • Finally, don't forget your baby's binky and/or pacifier, which are essential to comfort them.

So I don’t believe in vaccines . They want me to get a flu shot and a whooping cough shot and I don’t see why I really need that? But they said my baby could be at risk?im confused why there’s no such thing as natural medicine or pregnancies anymore. If you look up what’s all in these vaccines is hella bullshit. I really can’t make a decision. But I want my baby to always be ok and I don’t want to personally put my baby at risk for anything bc I didn’t get a vaccine but I don’t want my baby get some because of a vaccine either

I was jus gonna get my baby the Vitamin K shot. I heard there’s hella other shots they “need” at their first baby appointment. Did you decline all of those? And yes I haven’t got anything at all for myself I declined all. I don’t trust them!

I've had a few friends who are vaccinated and had a miscarriage while vaccinated. My recommendation is don't vaccinate until after pregnancy. Besides this vaccine is still in it trial stage. Why go and put something in your body that can effect you or your baby? P.S. I am not attacking anyone who is vaccinated, Just curious to know why?

I have had miscarriages since 2012.... I got my initial vaccine 5/21 got pregnant less than a month later. I took the vaccine because money is the root of all evil and I have a 16 yr old and 14 yr old to provide for. I took the booster cause my unborn has already been exposed and again money is the root of all evil. I can't live if I can't pay my bills. I let my son and daughter make the choice for themselves because they are already home schooled.

See sis that's why we need to be in business with our selves!! At the end of the day theses folks (the people you work for) don't give a ish about you!! I'm sorry you had to make that decision. Hope your pregnancy goes 100% well! Home schooling is great! Especially now with everything going on!!

Hey! I was wondering has anyone got the Pfizer booster while pregnant? How’d you feel? My doctor was strongly recommending it at my last appointment, but I want to hear personal experiences. According to her, several patients came in testing positive for Covid before delivery and I just want to know what I should expect, if my baby is going to act any differently (sluggish, moody, etc). I also just got my TDAP vaccine and baby always seems a little sluggish after a new vaccine, so I just want to know what every one thinks. I ask no political rants please.

Stay hydrated and rest. I had a similar experience after my first shot, lasted for 2 days.

So I need some mommy vaccine advice....I got the Covid vaccine back in April (before I was pregnant) I'm 8 and a half weeks now. Has anyone gotten their booster or covid vaccine in pregnancy? How are you doing and your baby? This new variant scares the crap out of me!

Did anyone take the Covid vaccine during their first trimester or prior to knowing they were pregnant? How did you feel afterwards and how’s the baby doing?
