The baby shower is a prenatal party organized in honor of the mother-to-be and her baby. But who to invite?


  • The concept is simple: organize an afternoon tea party in an atmosphere conducive to confidence in order to answer the concerns of the mother-to-be around games and challenges.
  • The guests are above all the female members of the mother-to-be's family and her close friends.
  • The current trend is to invite the father-to-be to the party, but the traditional girly atmosphere continues to seduce when organizing a baby shower.

I hate baby showers. People never get what you ask for. I only had one with my oldest and that was my last. I much rather buy everything I want by myself and with my husband that way I know I’m getting what I want and need and know it will be used.

Girl don't cancel, everyone won't buy things off the registry. Some people have never done it before and will bring something they choose to the shower. Some people will look at the registry and go into the store and buy the products you picked. Some people may even gift you cash or gift cards. I didn't think I would get much at my baby shower either but my baby is fine for at least 2 months from gifts. He has clothes, diapers and wipes and a carseat. And I got a carrier as a gift after the shower from someone who missed it. There may also be free services in your area where women swap and donate baby products but you really have to look into it. ?

Baby shower is in a few weeks I will be 26 weeks I’m just ready for baby girl to be here so I can get my tubes and recover from my C-section hurry up September 12!!!!

Sooo I’m having a girl ! I’m starting to plan my baby shower but I don’t want it to be pink and basic ??‍♀️ any ideas ? Also I don’t really favor my BD mom any advise ? (She’s nosey & talk a lot of crap ) ?

I'm having a girl as well!!! But my theme has pink in it lol I'm doing elephants for the baby shower and her room so I can reuse some of the items but I was doing mermaid before I made my final decision and if you go on Amazon idk how you feel about purple but there's so much cute stuff!!!
