The breast pump

You can get a breast pump to be able to breastfeed your baby at any time, which is practical and allows you to feed your baby if you go back to work or if you are not available at the time when your baby is hungry.

  • Breast pumps can be manual or electric, and depending on how often you use them, investing in an electric model may be a good solution.
  • Some have a massage cushion that helps milk flow.
  • You can express your milk and place it in the refrigerator to save some for later feeding.
  • It can also help when your breasts are engorged and you produce too much milk.

Madela is the best I've ever used thus far. However, I just ordered one off Amazon and it seems amazing. I'm excited to try it out once the baby comes.

Alright so I'm exclusively pumping my 3 month old and have noticed my supply decreasing mainly probably because I'm busy with both the 3 month old and a 4 year old so pumping every other feeding... wanting to get a wearable breast pump if anyone has any recommendations for ones that don't leak

My supply is decreasing as well so I’m here do see recommendations as well lol. I saw wearable breast pumps at target that were like $500 & change and I thought that was a bit ridiculous

Best breast pump? Also would you buy a breast pump from someone or go to the store to buy one? My insurance is only covering 3 and there all 2 or 3 star reviews.

I got the Medela breast pump. Was covered by insurance but I think I've seen them sold in stores when I walked through the isles of Target

I got the same one through insurance as you, but I plan to also buy a haakaa manual pump also. They are very inexpensive and I've heard great things.

How soon before you had your child did you get your breast pump from insurance? Like how long from when you requested to when you received?

Hey mama’s who already have more experience what is the best breast pump? I didn't use it with my first daughter and I suffered a little I want to use it this time but I want one that isn't too expensive and doesn't break in 3 months of use.

I have always found the electric ones to work best for me, instead of a hand pump one(they take to much time) I'm not sure if you already thought of it or asked already but you might be able to get a good quality one threw your insurance, that's how I got mine.
