Should I buy a newborn baby garment?

If you want to buy clothes for your child before they are born, another dilemma arises: what size to choose?

• As the name suggests, baby clothes are suitable for newborns and can be worn until about 1 month of age.
• If your child is big at birth, they may not be able to wear it, or only for a limited period of time.
• Ideally, you should have two or three pieces of newborn clothing before the birth and wait until after the birth to buy the rest.
