Advice after an insemination

If you're about to undergo artificial insemination and you're wondering how you'll feel right after, we'll tell you all about it.

• Right after the insemination, you will have to lie down for 10 to 30 minutes.
• Afterward, you can go back to your normal life as if nothing had happened (of course, we know that in your head, it's not the same thing). However, avoid extreme physical efforts.
• Couples who use artificial insemination are advised to have sexual intercourse between 8 and 12 hours after the technique, in order to generate uterine contractions that will help the sperm to rise.
